1. How do I register for the National Challenge Competition?

To register for the NCC, you must be a member of an official USA Triathlon club. Each club chooses one person from the club to be the club representative, and to manage the team online. That person completes the registration form and is emailed a password to login to the site.

Once registered, club reps can start building their team by adding athletes to the roster. They can then give them their own login so they can enter mileage. Club reps can also add or modify mileage for any of their athletes, and can update athlete info (like age or email address) or even drop someone from the team.

Just follow the directions on the 'Register' page to get started.

 

2. What if I'm not a club member?

If you are not in a Tri club but are a USAT member in good standing you can still participate.

Just complete the form on the non club member registration page to get started.

 

3. I can't find my club listed on the registration page.

The club list on the registration page is up to date, but if your club is not listed then please contact USA Triathlon immediately at clubs@usatriathlon.org so your club can be added to the list.

 

4. I forgot my login password.

If you have successfully registered for the competition, you can have your password emailed to you automatically. Just click the I Forgot My Password link on the login page.

Don't forget - your password was emailed to you either when you registered (for clubs and their designated contact person) or shortly after you registered as an individual (non-club) athlete.

 

5. My club is not listed in the standings.

Club standings can be displayed in groups of 5 to 100 clubs. If you don't see your club in the Top 100 list and it doesn't come up in the Find My Club search, please contact USAT immediately at clubs@usatriathlon.org.

 

6. How current are the standings?

The standings are always right up to date. As soon as new results are recorded they will be reflected in the standings. Refresh/reload the standings page if you think your latest results are not showing.

 

7. Why can't I just add all my mileage at the end of the month?

For the NCC to be fair and competitive, the standings should be as up to date as possible at all times. For this reason athletes are encouraged to enter their workout miles as soon as possible after a swim, bike or run.

You will have 7 days to enter your results. The entry form calendar will only show dates for the previous 7 days, so it's important to be as timely as possible with your mileage entries.
